Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think a Brahma ever used that type of motor, looks more like the older HC motor...the Mk2 too had the tapered top plate I thought.

That looks like the new motor, the mkIV with the old dustcap. They said it's a recone.

Nobody's bid, it'll probably be relisted cheaper. That's a lot for it.

I messaged the guy, he's a reseller for other people who can't use ebay because they suck, he's not sure if the owner is going to lower the price.

Still looks like an old HC motor to me...the new Mk4 Brahma had like 4 or 5 very small top plates stacked on one another...similar to the Exodus Audio stuff listed on A-V.com.

Looks like a hoax to me :)

I believe you are thinking of the MKIII, the one with all the supposed problems. The lego motor, we call that one!

I think it's another sub with the brahma dustcap or maybe a different motor with those softparts. It WOULD look like the new mk4 motor if it had the two thick plates but it looks like it only has one. HMMMMMMM! Oh well, I was just trying to help all these sad people find joy with a new Brahma.
