TalNLnky wrote:Yeah... I bought my US Acoustics 2080 from thezeb for $93 shipped. Can't beat that price.... I know about the Zed Audio amps... think they are a bit out of my budget. I'm trying to just throw in a stereo and not pay a ton this time.

So nick.... what are some brands to look at on a budget?

Currently, my USA 2075 is on sub duty, and my p706 is powering my front stage.

:)

I still have the itch for older US Acoustics.

so... looks like M3diaLab and I are going to swap amps... My USA 800F will be going to him for his USX4065.

This will allow me to run my Koda 8's with 160rms each and mount the amp under the seat. The 800F barely didn't fit.... 800F only did 200rms @ 4ohm too. So I'm not really losing much in volume.

I had an old USAcoustik USA 2150 that i ran subs on for a LONG time, probably 5-6 years and sold it for $75. Loved the amp, but i hated finding quick connects big enough for 8ga power wire.
