I think on Dell laptops it is Fn-8 or something like that. I don't have mine here to tell you.

Is your vid card an actual dual monitor card or does it just have a VGA out?

My video card is a ATI Mobility Radeon 9700, and I am quite sure it not a dual monitor card.. I did not know you needed a different type of video card to do this... I have a port replicator with a DVI and another monitor plug...

You know what I think I have it figured out... I split the screens, now I have to try and figure out the proper resolutions...

OK you know what I will just keep playing around with it and stop wasting peoples time... lol

It was way easier than I thought... just took some tinkering to get resolutions correct on them... But you can pick screen location very easily.. If I actually had internet worth a damn it would make the 2nd screen that much better... I could game on one and do whatever else on the other.

I need to find a 17" widescreen so the resolution is the same on them, I have a regular 15 LCD right now...
