Making a dynamically updating forum signature

Postby JimJ[VT] » Sun Apr 16, 2006 11:38 am

Hey...

I'm trying to make a signature for another forum where it'll refresh with a new image every time someone reloads the page. The forum doesn't allow using a .php hyperlink in [img] tags...so I can't just put a PHP script in the folder with the images and have everything work. I also tried uploading a .htaccess file, but my file server doesn't like the extension, apparently.

Anyone more l33t than I am care to assist me? :D

Thanks.

Not quite dynamic, but for what you are wanting, why not just make a .gif signature image that slide shows the different images you want?

you could write a php script on your server to change an image... and then link to the image.
