Need more jiggawatts...

Postby Koncrete » Thu Oct 19, 2006 5:38 am

Alternator went bad... So now I need a new one... Not looking for anything huge, maybe 200-240a? This is going on a 1999 Trans AM with a 5.7l, Currently the rest of the system is stock except for a 15" Brahma and a Revolution 1500.1...

Any suggestions?

My first question is how much do you really need? How much can you afford? Do you plan on upgrading/changing your system in the future?

excessive amperage offers a one month warranty when installed by you, three if installed by a pro. That's pretty crappy.
